Who we are
Crack On Leadership develops hospitality General Managers and future leaders. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at jon@crackonleadership.com or on 07309 044063.
What we collect and why
We only ask for what we need to respond to you and to run our business. In practice that means the following.
- Enquiry details. When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address and, if you provide them, your phone number, company, job title and the message you write. We use these to reply to your enquiry and to discuss how we might work together.
- Leadership Sense-Check responses. When you complete the Sense-Check we collect your name, email address, the details you give about your business and your answers. We use these to produce your results and, where you have asked us to, to follow up.
- Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to the weekly read we store your email address and, where given, your name.
- Booking details. Discovery calls are booked through Calendly, which collects the details needed to schedule and confirm your call.
- Website usage data. With your consent we use analytics to understand which pages are useful. See our cookie policy for the detail.
Our lawful bases
Where you send an enquiry, complete the Sense-Check or subscribe, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have made. Where we are delivering a programme we rely on performance of a contract. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of trusted processors to run the site and our business: Manus (website hosting and database), Calendly (call booking), HubSpot (customer relationship management, where marketing cookies are accepted) and Google Analytics (website analytics, where analytics cookies are accepted). Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and Sense-Check responses are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted unless we have an ongoing relationship or a legal reason to keep them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email jon@crackonleadership.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Data submitted through this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in an access controlled database. Access is limited to those who need it to respond to you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
